A-Level and GCSE Success at Kineton High School

A-Level Success

Students at Kineton High School and Sixth Form were today celebrating outstanding progress in their A level outcomes. The many high grades resulted in our students accessing their chosen pathways for next year and gaining prestigious university places including Rebecca Steward who will be studying Civil Engineering at Bristol, Fredrick Venables will read History at Warwick and Orla Doyle has gained a place to study Architecture at Loughborough University. Individual grade highlights include Josh Hook who achieved  A*, A, A, and an AS at Grade A  and goes on to Nottingham University, Rebecca Steward gained A*, A*, B and Sophie Wootton who celebrated achieving A*, A, B.

The results are a real credit to the students and to the staff who always provide high quality personalised support and challenge. Outcomes and progress in Maths, Business Studies, History, English Language, Photography, Art and Spanish were particularly strong this year. We would like to congratulate all the students, who through hard work and perseverance leave us on a really positive note having achieved their personal bests and just as importantly, having  really enjoyed and made the most of their time in Kineton Sixth Form. We are very proud of them and wish them all the very best in the future.

GCSE Results Success

“Kineton High School students celebrated some outstanding results again this year. We are delighted to report that all our headline measures have improved on last year with an increased percentage gaining a good pass in English and Maths and a dramatic increase in the percentage of students achieving the highest grades 7-9. The percentage gaining a Grade 7 -9 in both English and Maths has doubled this year. We are very proud of all our students and the progress they have made at Kineton and it has been a real pleasure watching them grow as young people and today be with them as they received the fruits of their efforts. We are looking forward to welcoming significantly more students back into our Sixth Form and would like to wish all those students moving on to other opportunities the very best. Some notable results include Miles Leonard who was delighted with his 6 Grade 9’s and 6 Grades 7&8, Ellie Moll who achieved 5 Grade 9’s , 3 A* and 3 Grade 8’s and Leo Aston who achieved Grades 7-9 in all his subjects.”
