Pupils pick up awards in safety writing challenge

Kineton Primary School organised a writing competition to coincide with a Warwickshire Police competition to support and celebrate Safer Internet Day 2018 (SID’18). The challenge was to write a poem or rhyme, some song lyrics, a rap, a blog post, or a short story based on one of the Safer Internet Day
2018 themes: Respect online OR #BeCyberKind. Excitingly, one of our Year 2 pupils was the overall winner for Warwickshire 6-8yrs category and two Year 5 pupils were awarded Highly Commended in the 9-11 year old section.

We were delighted to welcome Superintendent Andrew Nolan from Warwickshire Police to present the winner with her trophy and £100 Amazon Voucher prize. Overall there were 28 entries from Kineton Primary School.
