Kineton Manor is a beautiful Georgian country house with lovely gardens and views towards Edgehill. Our 51 bed nursing home is sensitively managed by the current Manager (of 15 years) and two local owners. All our staff are fully qualified and supported in pursuing continual professional development.
We do not use agency staff, meaning that staff really get to know the residents’ needs and the families that visit. The owner’s ethos has always been to provide the quality of care that they would wish for their own parents. Families regularly comment that we have a very homely atmosphere.
We are well staffed and Registered General Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day. We have a very good relationship with the local GP (Hastings House / Little Thatch surgery) with regular visits and very prompt additional support when necessary. We also work closely with the local Multi-disciplinary teams to ensure our residents receive as much support as possible from physiotherapists, speech and language therapists etc. We have a visiting chiropodist.
We offer permanent or short term stays, respite, palliative care (Gold Standard Framework accredited), post-operative care and day care for the elderly in Warwickshire. The majority of rooms have en-suite facilities, and all rooms have a nurse call system, a TV and a telephone if desired. Our hairdresser visits three times a week and residents’ clothes are laundered on the premises.
Our two-floor home has lift access and is wheelchair accessible throughout, including the gardens. Bedrooms are all well-appointed and comfortable, and we have two lounges, a dining room and a library.
We organise a wide range of activities to keep our residents active and entertained, including games, live music, religious services, arts and crafts and day trips. We have strong links with all three churches, both schools and many of the local businesses in Kineton.
We provide nutritious home cooked meals around the clock, including breakfast from 7:30am – 9:00am, morning tea with biscuits, lunch from 12:00pm – 1:30pm including wine, afternoon tea with cakes and supper from 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
We would like to invite anyone from the village of Kineton or surrounding area to visit us to see what we have to offer. There is no need to make an appointment as we are always happy to show people around.
